Our sweet 1 year old beagle, Buttercup, is available for adoption.<br/><br/>Buttercup is a total sweetheart beagle who is friendly and calm. <br/><br/>She gets along with other dogs and people, including kids. She can be shy when first meeting someone new, but a few ear scratches later, she warms up. She is learning to walk on a leash and do her business but prefers to roam a fenced yard. <br/><br/>Although she has learned that a house is a safe cozy place, she is still learning not to bathroom inside. She is also working on some basic commands, but does always come when her name is called. <br/><br/>Buttercup sleeps through the night in a crate, and prefers an early 6am wake up call to go outside. She does great in a car and loves a good couch snuggle. <br/><br/>Buttercup came in with two other young beagles, probably all owned by a hunter. She was in heat when she arrived so we have had to wait to spay her. She is HW negative and up to date on vaccines, but she will still need to be spayed, which is on the schedule.
