Dobermans are known for forming deep bonds with their families, and Butch is no exception. He loves being with his people and is happiest when he's included in the action.<br/><br/>Butch came to us with a significant injury to one of his legs, believed to possibly be the result of a severe burn. Thankfully, X-rays showed no fractures or damage to the bone, and his leg is healing nicely. He still has a ways to go before he's fully recovered, but he's making great progress every day. He's also underweight and has a small lump on his chest that should be monitored by his future veterinarian.<br/><br/>Despite everything he's been through, Butch hasn't let it dampen his spirit. He walks well on a leash, absolutely loves chasing tennis balls, and is always happy to spend time with his people. His cropped ears give him the classic Doberman look, but behind that striking appearance is a gentle, sweet dog who just wants to be loved.<br/><br/>Butch is looking for a family who will continue helping him heal, both physically and emotionally, while giving him the life every dog deserves.
