Buster's Story

Buster came to us after he was hit by a car and no one came to claim him. The person who hit him, took him to a local vet to scan for a chip, which he didn't have and gave the family time to find a rescue that may be able to help. When the family reached out to us, they had done some research with several specialists regarding surgery. The surgery would be anywhere from $10,000 to $18,000. When we were contacted, we agreed to take Buster, but we wanted to get a second opinion from our vet. Our vet said we could try the cage rest for 12 weeks and when he was neutered, they would try to separate his legs, to help his pelvis heal back correctly.

Buster is now up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. He is also on flea/tick prevention. He is now neutered, and chipped. While under for his neuter, our vet moved his legs around and was able to move the pelvis, just slightly, so when it healed, it would be pretty near perfect. He has been on cage rest for the 12 weeks and now he is running and playing like a happy pup! His foster family has a farm and he LOVES running through the pastures and romping around with his foster family's dogs. He loves the kids and just wants to play and accept/give as much love as he possibly can! Buster is completely house trained and crate trained!

Please check out Buster's poster and let's get him adopted! He deserves the perfect forever home! He weighs 17# and is 2 years old.

To apply:
https://acfrescue.weebly.com/adoption-foster-and-volunteer-applications.html

His adoption fee is $150
