Buoy's Story

Buoy was surrendered to a shelter we help, because he was part of an unwanted litter of puppies born in rural area. We were able to save him and his siblings, because one of our wonderful fosters brought them into her home. Buoy has been in our care since he was 9 weeks old, and he has now completed his veterinary care. He has an adorable heart shaped spot on his side, and we hope someone will love him forever.

Buoy does great with other dogs of any age and size, and he does well with cats too. He likes to be with people and has done great with young children. He is almost house trained and is learning how to walk on a leash.

Buoy weighs 10 pounds, and he is 3 months old. He is a Jack Russell Terrier mix. His mama only weighs 16 pounds, so Buoy will also be a small sized adult.

Buoy is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. He is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Buoy can arrive in Brattleboro, Vermont on 8/15.
