Bunny's Story
Introducing Bunny! Bunny is a Bichon-Poodle mix who is estimated to be 6 years old and is a puppymill rescue.
Bunny arrived very overwhelmed with being out of the puppymill and with all of the new people, sounds, places. She has come a long way in opening up and showing off her personality, but she is still a little withdrawn and nervous of new people and situations. Bunny is going to need someone very special to open their heart and home to her. She is going to need the space to decompress and explore on her own without being pushed too quickly. She needs someone able to move slowly around her, she will allow herself to be held and pet some but you have to go slowly with her.
Bunny does know how to walk on a leash, but she can be very stubborn at times and plop down refusing to move. She will need some help to gain confidence on a leash. When she does get going she seems to enjoy walking!
Bunny also does well with other small dogs and they help bring her personality out.
Patience is key with a rescue like Bunny. Time, love & patience will bring this sweet girl out of her shell and help her to become the best dog she can be!

Interested in adopting?
