Today, she is safe, healthy, and slowly learning what it means to feel secure in a home.

Bunny is sweet, sensitive, and deeply affectionate once she trusts you. She may take time to warm up, but when she does, she becomes a true cuddle bug who loves to snuggle close and nap peacefully beside her people. Her foster describes her as a “total doll” once she feels comfortable.

🩺 Health & Care
• Excellent overall health
• No known allergies or medical concerns
• Monthly NexGard Spectra (year-round)
• Diet: Acana Free-Run Duck
• Very food-motivated and enjoys meat-based treats
• Cooperative with baths, brushing, and nail trims

🚶 Walking & Outdoor Behavior
Bunny walks nicely once she gets going. She enjoys sniffing and exploring and may occasionally get distracted by food on the ground or squirrels. When she picks up an interesting scent, she may pull a bit, but responds with patience and gentle guidance.

She notices other dogs and people on walks but does not bark during normal neighborhood walks. She can be hesitant at the start of a walk, but once moving, she does well.

🚽 Potty Routine
Typical schedule:
• Morning around 7 AM
• Midday around noon
• Evening around 6 PM

She is doing well with her routine and continues to improve with consistency.

🐶 Personality & Social Behavior

With People
• Very affectionate once she feels safe
• May bark at unfamiliar strangers at first
• Warms up gradually, especially with treats
• Did well meeting new people when introductions were slow and calm
• Once bonded, she loves snuggling and staying close

With Men
• No clear pattern; some she ignores, some she barks at initially
• Improves with calm interaction and food rewards
• Successfully walked by a new person after spending time together

With Children
• Best suited for a home without children
• Loud noises and sudden movements are stressful for her

With Dogs
• Does well with other calm, friendly dogs
• Shows polite interest on walks
• Not a fan of overly intense or rough play

With Cats
• Not recommended for a cat home
• Curiosity and barking could create ongoing stress

🏠 Home Life
• Calm when left alone so far; mostly sleeps on the bed
• Has not been left alone for 3–4 hours yet
• Very quiet overall
• May investigate trash bins or tissue if accessible
• Still very much in her puppy phase and needs supervision

🌱 Biggest Growth Areas
Bunny’s biggest need is patience. She requires adopters who are willing to:
• Go at her pace
• Introduce visitors slowly
• Help her adjust to loud noises gently
• Accept that trust takes time

Once she trusts you, she is incredibly loving, affectionate, and devoted.

🏡 Ideal Home for Bunny
• Quiet, low-traffic household
• Someone home often
• No children and no cats
• Calm environment with predictable routines
• Adopters who value emotional connection over instant confidence

🚫 Not a Good Fit For
• Busy homes with frequent visitors
• Loud or chaotic environments
• Adopters expecting immediate confidence

💛 Why Bunny Is Special
Bunny is not a “plug-and-play” dog — she is a heart dog. She needs time, gentleness, and understanding. But once she chooses you, she chooses you fully. She becomes affectionate, loyal, and endlessly loving, curling up beside you and making your home feel softer and warmer.

For the right family, Bunny will be an incredibly rewarding companion.

📷 Follow Our Rescue
@neveralonerescue
