Bunny's Story
Meet Bunny!

Bunny is a 2-year-old, 6-pound Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix) who is proof that a disability doesn’t have to define a dog’s life. Born without her two front limbs, Bunny has adapted beautifully and doesn’t let anything slow her down!

She is a sweet little girl who is learning to show more and more of her playful personality every day.

A little about Bunny:

Age: 2 years old
Weight: 6 pounds
Breed: Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix)
Different Ability: Born without her two front limbs, but she hops/scoots around and enjoys life!
Good with dogs: YES, Gets along wonderfully with other dogs
Good with cats: YES!
Good with Kids: She would prefer children over the age of 10 who are respectful of dogs and their space.
Housetrained: Trained for both outside and pee pads
Things she loves: being with her humans, her animal friends, but also does well in a pen for quiet time.

Please note: Due to her disability, Bunny will need to be carried up and down steps. She will also need to be kept on flooring/ground that will not injure her chest when she scoots & hops. When out and about, a doggie stroller or a carrier would work well! She is very portable at only 6 pounds.

Bunny isn’t looking for someone to feel sorry for her—she’s looking for someone who will love her, spoil her, and give her the chance to live the happy life she deserves.

If you’re looking for a tiny companion with a HUGE personality and an even bigger heart, Bunny may be your girl!
