Bunnie's Story
Bunnie is here in Maine and loving life in her foster home! She's estimated to be about 7 months old and is a mixed breed- she looks like a Heeler mix, her siblings look more like Pyr/hounds so we know that her DNA test will be interesting! She's the smallest of her sibling at around 25 lbs. Her foster says that she is very respectful of the older dogs in the home (who don't often tolerate older puppies/adult dogs). She's very smart and has moments of excited energy but overall is fairly calm for a puppy. She absolutely loves people and will do great in a home where she gets lots of love and attention. She's good with kids but would likely be best with kids that are out of the toddler stage. She walks well on leash and has mastered the stairs. She can bark to alert when she sees strange people or dogs outside. She's a very sweet, good girl and will make an excellent companion.

If you think you might be interested in adopting Bunnie or just want to get pre-approved to adopt through us, please fill out an application on our website. Approvals are valid for one year and you will not have the waiting period of an application if you see a dog that you like!
