Bullet is 9 years old and currently in a foster home. This is what his foster has to say about him.

Play ball with Bullet! This sweet senior says playing ball isn't just a young pup's game, in fact fetch in Bullet's favorite thing in the world and he'd play all the time if he was allowed to! But Bullet has a lot of other favorites too! Like meeting new people (everyone is his friend), taking a leisurely walk, or going for a car ride! Bullet has been living the good life and has been exceptional in his foster home; he is house-trained and respectful of items that are not his toys. He also knows “sit”, “shake”, and is not a “morning” dog, he is content to lounge in bed until it is time to get up. Bullet does have a luxating patella (kneecap) that prevents him from using flights of stairs. Bullet does use a few steps in and out of his foster home, and overall would prefer a home with few or no steps.

Bullet seems fine hanging out around other dogs, though we are not sure how he would feel about sharing his space or toys long term and recommend a meet and greet to see how everyone gets along! We also recommend a family meet and greet for any families with young kids, since Bullet is a ball enthusiast, to make sure the play is fun for all. Also no cats, rabbits, or squirrels - they are just too much fun to chase.

Bullet is current on shots, licensed and microchipped. All dogs over 6 months have been heartworm tested, and all dogs are treated monthly for fleas/ticks (Nexgard or Frontline Gold) and are on Heartworm prevention (Heartgard Plus). All pets are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. All our dogs are temperament tested and "should" like dogs, cats, and kids unless noted. WE HAVE MORE PETS IN THE SHELTER THAT ARE NOT ON PETFINDER.
