INTRODUCING BUDDY !!!!!!!!! We generally take 60 days of assessment before offering our adoptables up to new homes. However, this is Buddy and no matter how you cut it, he is absolutely the best. He is a heeler, but he is also courteous, responsive to commands, quiet and works like a team player should. From the start, Buddy has been every dogs friend, but most importantly, he wants to make his person happy. He has only been here a few weeks, enough to know, he deserves to find his forever person right now! He is a bit smaller than the average heeler, but compact and so attractive. Buddy is attentive, polite and wants to play fetch all the time. He knows how to stay under the radar, but still be the center of attention at play time. This boy loves to ride quietly in the car and is wonderful in the crate at night. He has a light cream and red color which is unusual and attractive. Buddy enjoys the doggie pool and our pack walks. He never leaves the yard when outside to potty and his recall is solid. He doesnt mind to be low on the totem pole, mid-pack or in charge! For such a young dog he has a very mature demeanor. Buddy is 2 years old and was clearly loved by someone at one time. He weighs 39 pounds and is fully vetted and microchipped. He is as solid as the day is long, so we are ready to find him a forever home and a person he can love and bond with.
