Buddy's Story

Despite being an 8 year old senior, Buddy is a strong, spunky Staffordshire Terrier/Rottweiler mix that needs a strong, experienced handler. He is housebroken and loves people and treats. He MUST be the only pet in the home - no dogs or cats. He would do best with older children only. He has some separation anxiety and would do best in a home that is home more often than no . LONG TIMER, Adoption fee REDUCED $50, includes: Dog spayed and current on vaccinations. 30 days of free pet insurance through MetLife A free "clean start" bath, ear cleaning, teeth brushing and nail trim at Scenthound Free training support for the life of the pet, including group classes. Happy Trails Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

An adoption application is required, as well as an in-person meet and greet with the dog. We DO NOT ship dogs out of the area, we are located in Central Florida and all adoptions must occur in person. Adoption requirements vary on a dog to dog basis, our goal is to find a dog that is the right fit for you - and a home that is a great match for the dog. We keep our adoption fees as low as possible, but adoption fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. We are honest and upfront about everything we know about the animal you are adopting, and expect you to put serious thought into the commitment of adoption before moving forward and be committed to the dog life-long.
