Buddy's Story

I am a timid, sweet boy that was not well socialized with people so I'm still learning how to trust them. I am calm and friendly and goofy. I like toys and being outside. I'm not used to the leash yet, but my foster mom is working on it. I know what "no" means. I go outside to potty, but I still need some supervision in that department. I spook easily and it takes me a little while to recover. I don't like to be alone. I like to sleep on the bed with my foster mom and sit on the couch close to her. I guess you could say I like people, but I need time to get to know you. I don't know if I like small toddlers, but I think I might like older kids 10+ as long as they are calm around me. I will need a support dog that is possibly a basset hound (that's the only kind of dog I have ever known). One that is confident and calm that I can lay close to when I'm nervous and a person that will be kind, loving and patient with me while I adjust.
