BUDDY's Story
Current Status: AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ON MONDAY, 03-02-2026 AT 10 AM
Name: BUDDY
Details: Buddy came to the kennel as a Stray. He is a Boisterous fellow! So happy to be loved on and is still quite the puppy. We would not recommend small children due to his high energy level. We are unsure how he would be with cats or other dogs. He does have degenerative orthopedic disease, so he won't be running any marathons. The vet has told us that he does not currently have arthritis, but can be expected to in his older years. Which may require some pain management. We have already started him on glucosamine supplements to help with his joints. He has started basic training with Dave Gyurica of The Retriever Barn and he walks well on a prong collar. This boy is so full of life and just needs the opportunity to show you all the love he has to offer.
Description: 6 months, Male, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, 48#
Kennel ID#: D26-037
Intake Date: 02/18/2026

Sandusky County Dog Kennel
1950 Countryside Place
Fremont, OH 43420
419-334-2372

ADOPTION FEE *(Effective 01-01-2026) is $200 and includes the spay or neuter, Microchip, 1 year Rabies Vaccine, 4 in 1 vaccine, heartworm test, deworming, current on heartworm/flea/tick prevention and the current years Dog License.

ADOPTION PROCESS: If more than one person is here for the same dog at the time the dog becomes available, a drawing will be held to decide the adopter.
