I’m Buddy — a 4-year-old Chiweenie and a sweet, shy little guy who came into rescue with my sisters after our dad passed away. I love my people more than anything in the world and will happily follow you from room to room, just to be close. Attention? Yes please. Snuggles? Absolutely. I get along well with other dogs and cats, so I can fit right into a family with furry friends. I’ve been working hard on my weight loss journey—I went from 30 pounds to 25 pounds and I’m ready to keep it up with walks and playtime. I have about 8 more pounds to lose. I’m used to having a fenced yard, and honestly, I’d really love one at my new home so I can safely run, explore, and soak up the outdoors. If you’re looking for a loyal little companion who wants to love you as much as you love me, I might just be your perfect match. Let’s make it official—adopt me and I’ll be your sidekick for life! Fur Fun Rescue's Adoption Policy

Our dogs are all in foster homes. We require a completed application prior to meeting one of our dogs. The adoption application is on our website: furfunrescue.org. Once the application is received, we check the veterinarian reference if you have or have had pets. Then we contact you to set up a time to meet the dog. If, after meeting the dog you want to proceed with an adoption, we will run a background check, call personal references, and do a home visit. We always introduce our dog to any current pets. The final step is completing the adoption contract.
