Buddy

Buddy is a sweet 3 year old dog who was adopted to a family by our rescue, when he was a puppy. As far as we knew, he did great with his new family until recently, when we got a call from a local animal shelter, that h mo e had been surrendered! We immediately contacted the family and they reported that "he had barked when their 2 year old grandchild pulled his tail." <br/><br/>We were deeply saddened to hear that he was given up on so easily by the only family he ever knew. Buddy is now in a wonderful foster home, where we have learned that he does great with his 2 foster dog siblings. His foster dad said he seems more oriented to him, than dogs, and he sometimes seems sad and confused. This is not surprising, since he has been in multiple strange settings in a short period of time.<br/><br/>Buddy knows basic commands, walks on a leash and rides in a car well and is crate trained. His foster dad says he is a "sweet- natured dog with a gentle disposition." We think Buddy will do best in an active family with or without other dogs. Please let us know if you think you could be his forever family!
