Buddy

Buddy is a sweet 3 year old dog who through no fault of his own, found himself surrendered to a local animal shelter, by the only family he ever knew.<br/><br/>Fortunately, we have learned a lot about this amazing fella over the past 2 months from his wonderful, new foster dad. He reports that Buddy "is a sweet-natured dog with a gentle disposition" and gets along great with his 2 foster dog siblings. They are both female and are as big or bigger than him. Although he got along well with other dogs at the shelter and in his foster home, Buddy reportedly seems to prefer human companionship. He likes to be close to his foster dad and loves affection, although he can also be independent and self-entertain.<br/>Buddy also knows basic commands, walks on a leash, rides in a car well and is crate trained. <br/><br/>We think Buddy will do best with an "active" individual or family, with or without other dogs. He currently lives in central Oklahoma, but we could work out transportation for the right family. Please let us know if you think this could be you!
