What is Boston Terrier Rescue of Florida, Inc.’s adoption process?

Because we have Boston Terriers of all ages, we have a sliding scale for adoption fees generally ranging from a donation for senior dogs to $800 based on the age and health of the dog. Most of our adoptable dogs are microchipped, spayed or neutered, current on age appropriate vaccinations, and heartworm tested along with monthly heartworm prevention medication during their stay in Rescue. Adopters receive a complete copy of all medical records. Puppies too young to be spayed/neutered at the time of placement must be spayed/neutered at the adopter's expense by 6 mo of age. Please understand that adoption from our Rescue is a process, all of which is done by volunteers. To start the process, all adopters must complete an application.
