Meet Buddy
Meet Buddy - This 2 Year old Husky is a playful snuggle-bug looking for somewhere to call home and a family of his own!
ABOUT BUDDY
Buddy is skittish with new people, but once he warms up he is very snuggly and sweet! He's definitely been "grabbed" a lot and knows how to play a good game of "can't catch me!!"
Buddy was likely chained up as an outside dog previously. He has marks on his neck that are common from extended time chained up and he was very scared to go inside. Once we got him in, he was baffled by hardwood floors (but he's got the hang of it now!).
Buddy's favorite activity is snuggling up to watch TV. He also enjoys walks and his leash manners are very good. He loves to play with toys, but seems keen on balancing out the zoomies with plenty of naptime.
Buddy has yet to have an accident in the house with twice daily walks and/or yard time. Buddy has already given us a preview of his husky-style "talking" ability and probably isn't going to be quiet enough for apartment living without a decent amount of training, but he's low-energy enough to suit a more quiet lifestyle than most huskies.
Buddy is nervous about new people but is growing more bold with each new friend he makes! He's done well with men, women, and kids.
Buddy is now microchipped, up to date on deworming, flea/tick preventative, and all his vaccines (DHPP, Rabies, Bordetella, Lepto), and he is neutered!
You can fill out an adoption application for Buddy here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CAST/Dog to be pre-approved!
All C.A.R.E rescue dogs are vaccinated, heart-worm tested, spayed/neutered, and microchipped! So all you need to provide is the love.
Our adoption fee is a minimum $150 tax deductible donation. All donations are used for rescue and medical care of animals in need. If you don't have room to take home a pet but want to support our efforts to save animals in need, please consider making a donation. We are not city or state funded and rely solely on private donations that allow C.A.R.E. to continue saving lives.
