Buddy Golden Retriever Pacific, MO

Buddy is an older Golden Retriever. He's great with dogs, cats and kids!! He was in a home and liked to dig out from the fence in the back yard. He has recently been neutered so hopefully that will help with his archaeological adventures. He has test positive for heartworms and will begin treatment soon. Buddy requires at least a 4 foot fence and an owner that will never leave him unattended outside. He will be available for adoption after June 19 to a home without another dog. If you have a dog, he will need to complete his heartworm treatment (3 months) before he is able to be active with a canine friend.

Buddy is 7 years old. He currently weighs around 70 pounds.

The minimum donation for Buddy is $425.00. This includes all of his vetting. If you are interested in Buddy, please fill out an online application through our website.

We are currently only open by appointment only. Due to the recent pandemic, we are looking at the safety of our volunteers that are there to take care of the dogs. Only serious inquiries will be considered.

Then meet him at the shelter during adoption hours on Saturdays and Sundays 10 - 2pm. All members of the household need to meet the dog you are interested in. Vet records for any current or previous pets need to be provided. If all goes well, a home visit will be done prior to adoption.
