Bud's Story

Hey everyone, it’s me—Bud—checking in!

Great news…I just got a clean bill of health from the vet! They think I’m about 5–6 years old, and my foster mom and the whole rescue family are so happy for me. I still need to put on a little weight, but honestly…that just means more snacks for me, so I’m not complaining! ?

Let me tell you a little about myself so you can see if you might be my forever family.

I love the yard—running, playing, and my absolute favorite…stretching out in the grass and soaking up the sun. My foster mom laughs because I’m happiest outside on a sunny day.

She also laughs every time she comes home, because I always bring her something to show how much I love her. A shoe, a toy—pretty much anything I can find. I just want you to know I’m excited you’re home!

I have a foster sister, Penny. She’s nice, but she only plays with me once in a while. I’d really love a female dog sister who likes to play and chase me around the yard.

I do need a little work on my leash manners—I get so excited and forget my own strength. But I promise I’m a good boy and I’ll try my best.

If you’re interested in adopting me, you must be approved first.
