Hey there, I'm Buckaroo (BD: 6/18/26)! I'm a male puppy that's curious, playful, and always up for a good time. My foster mom says I'm a real character. I just love to make people laugh and I get along with everyone I meet. I'm also super affectionate and will happily snuggle up with you on the couch after a long day of adventures. Here's the scoop: I'm still working on my house training, but I'm a smart cookie and I'm improving every day. I'm de-wormed, on flea and heartworm prevention, and even microchipped, so I'm ready to go whenever you are! Just keep in mind that I need a physically fenced yard to zoom around in, no apartments or condos for this pup, please. If you think you might be my forever family, fill out an application to come and meet me! I usually hang out at the Livonia PetSmart on Saturdays, charming everyone I meet. I can't wait to find my forever home and bring some extra laughter and love into your life! P.S. My adoption fee is $375, which includes a $75 neuter deposit, and it will go towards helping other pups like me find their forever homes too!

WAG Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
Adoption fees provide some recuperation of costs associated with providing in-home and necessary veterinary care while the animal is in our program. The benefit of adopting from an organization that provides in-home foster care is that the animal’s behavior has been evaluated by their care providers in a natural living environment, rather than oftentimes unpleasant surroundings of a shelter. WAG foster care providers care for the animals as if they are their own, and learn to know the animal’s likes and dislikes, ability to co-exist with other animals, ability to tolerate children, and so forth. A volunteer will review your application and contact you ONLY if you are approved or if further clarification is required. We will make every attempt to contact approved applicants within 5 business days of application submission (M-F), but this will depend on the number of applications received. Please be patient while we processes your adoption applications. We want to be sure that the best match possible is made, so that the dog does not end up needing re-homing again. Please understand that by answering the questions does not guarantee the adoption of the pet, nor are you obligated to adopt the pet. WAG Animal Rescue adopts to homes that are best fits for our animals' needs, and not on a first-come, first-served basis. If you currently own a pet or have a history of pet ownership, you must provide a vet reference for your application to be processed. Preference is given to applications with prior animal experience and vet references. We are an all-volunteer organization, and regret that we do not have the resources to contact applicants that are not approved. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Approved applicants are based on best fit, not first submitted. WAG RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY APPLICANT, so please understand that it is within our discretion to make those decisions on behalf of our animals. Keep in mind that we depend 100% on volunteers, most of whom have full-time jobs, so we ask for your understanding as we do the best we can in the endless effort to find homes for these deserving animals! WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER, ALL OF OUR ANIMALS ARE IN ONE OF OUR VOLUNTEERS HOME. HOW TO MEET: Many WAG's animals are available for viewing and adoption every Saturday from 11 am-3 pm at the Livonia PetSmart, located at Middlebelt and I-96. OUR ADOPTION EVENTS ARE VERY BUSY so please keep that in mind if you intend to come. You should expect to spend some time there if you are sincerely interested in one of our animals (since we have limited manpower and many visitors to screen). WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT THE ANIMAL YOU ARE INTERESTED IN WILL BE AT THE ADOPTION EVENT. We ask that you DO NOT contact PetSmart about our animals. They are kind enough to provide space for our adoption events, but are not involved with our rescue work. Please email us if there is a specific animal you would like to meet to be sure they will be at the adoption event. Please remember.......our first and ONLY consideration is the safety and happiness of our animals.
