Bubba's Story

Hi there. My name is Bubba, and I’ve been told I’m quite the handsome fella. I try to act modest about it, but I do notice the extra smiles I get when I walk by. Speaking of walks, I’m a big fan of those—especially because it means I get to meet new people. And let me tell you, meeting people is one of my absolute favorite things in the world.
I’m four years old, which I think is a pretty perfect age. I’ve got a great balance of fun energy and laid-back charm. I’ve outgrown all that puppy chaos, but I still have plenty of enthusiasm for life, especially when it involves being around my humans. If you’re doing something, I’d really like to be doing it too.
Now, if I could pick my favorite time of day, it would definitely be nighttime—because that’s when I get to cuddle up close. I take my snuggle duties very seriously. I’m happiest when I can curl up next to you, rest my head nearby, and just enjoy being together. I’ve got a lot of love to give, and I don’t mind showing it one bit.
On walks, I do get a little excited, and sometimes I forget that I’m a strong guy. What can I say? There’s just so much to see and so many friends to greet. But I’m a smart boy, and with a little guidance and practice, I know I can master that loose-leash style and impress everyone with my good manners.
I should mention that because I’m a solid, enthusiastic kind of dog, I’d do best in a home with older children. Sometimes I get so happy that I forget just how much space I take up, and I wouldn’t want to accidentally knock over any tiny humans. I promise it comes from a place of pure excitement.

At the end of the day, I’m a friendly, loving, people-oriented guy who just wants a place to belong. A home where I can go on walks, meet new friends, and most importantly, curl up beside you at night would be my dream come true.
Why don’t you come meet me? I’ve got a feeling we could be best friends.
