Bryce's Story

Bryce is a confident, fun little pup who already loves to fetch! Bryce was found with his sister as strays in California and brought into the shelter there. We were delighted to get them out of the shelter and into a foster home where they could be safe and on a better path to adoption.

- Approximately date of birth is 3/2/26

- Weighed 4.31 pounds on 5/18/26. We believe Bryce will likely be around 15 pounds full grown but cannot guarantee size at maturity.

- Chihuahua mix

- Social with people and loves to play and engage with you

- Getting lots of good socialization with other dogs in foster and enrichment

- Has not been around cats yet but he is so young and small that we think he will do just fine with them.

- Kids ages 8+ years old if there are kids in the home due to his small size

We are seeking committed puppy adopters who are kind, patience and realize getting a puppy can be a lot of work and a labor of love. We prioritize adopters who believe in socializing and training their puppy so that it can mature into a well mannered and confident adult dog.

Bryce has his first two rounds of puppy vaccines, is microchipped, dewormed and current on flea/tick/heatworm prevention. His adoption fee includes his neuter surgery between 7 -12 months of age at one of our partner veterinary clinics in SW Portland or Milwaukie. It also includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Portland or Tualatin.

$450 adoption fee

Fostered in Gresham, Oregon

APPLY TO ADOPT BRYCE ON OUR WEBSITE: WWW.AGAVEDOGS.ORG

We are volunteer run and most of us work a normal day job and do rescue work in our free time. 2. If your application seems like a good match for the dog you are applying to adopt, we will call you to talk more about the dog you're interested in. 3. We provide you the foster home's contact information and you set up a time to go and visit the dog you're interested in. 4. If you decide to proceed with the adoption, we have you complete our Adoption Contract and pay the adoption fee. 5. We drop our dogs off at their new homes to make sure all is well. 6. We email you the dog's vet records and microchip information.
