Brutus's Story

This 4 year old retired racer from New Zealand is a lovely and affectionate lad. Brutus is very people focused and playful. He knows his name well and always runs up enthusiastically whenever called to attention. He is a bit of a social butterfly and loves everyone he meets. Brutus loves his daily walks in the sun, and has good leash manners. He plays well with his greyhound friends, but he seems to enjoy interacting with people even more. Overall, this wonderful dog would do well in almost any moderately active home that can give him enrichment and structure to thrive.<br/><br/>* Fast Friends adopts in the New England area. Fast Friends Greyhound Adoption Center's Adoption Policy
Once we review your completed application, we will contact you to for a phone interview. The interview gives us an opportunity to fully explain the nature of sighthounds and get to know you and what you're looking for in a companion. Then, Fast Friends will help you choose the dog who is the best fit for your household and lifestyle. We have approximately 40 greyhounds and other dogs available at any time, both boys and girls. Once you have selected a dog to join your family, a representative from Fast Friends will come out to your home and go over training solutions for helping your dog become fully house-trained, learn to navigate stairs, and more.
