I came to C.A.R.E. as a stray from Chicago Animal Control, and I think I spent my first few months in a small space without much experience with the big, exciting world around me. I did get the chance to work with a personal trainer while at the shelter, so I have had a real head start on learning the ropes!<br/><br/>Here is the Good News:<br/>I am incredibly smart and so eager to learn! I already know "sit" and "touch," and when I figure out what you are asking me to do, you can see the pride and joy light up in me. Making you happy makes me happy - it is truly my favorite thing. I also have a calm, thoughtful side - I love taking my time to observe the world around me, soaking everything in at my own pace.<br/><br/>What I am Like:<br/>I am not always "on" - sometimes I am perfectly content to settle down and just watch the world go by. I go absolutely wild for tennis balls - there is nothing better than a good game of fetch to get my tail going! I also love enrichment activities that give my brain something to chew on, and training is genuinely one of my favorite things.
