We are pleased to bring you a rather unique breed for Big Dogs.. a South African Boerboel. This type of Mastiff is strong, powerful, super loyal and affectionate with his family, and is a great protector of the home. Bruno is 4 years old, and is eagerly looking for a new family to love and care for. This super smart guy knows all of his Good Dog commands and is house/crate/leash trained. He is very trustworthy with free roam in the home, and he does not bark, dig or chew. Additionally, he loves car rides and other dogs, after slow, proper introductions, but would do best in a more low traffic home without children. (we don't know how he feels about cats yet). Boerboel dogs definitely need strong human leadership, to work with their need to be guardians and to help them remember their good dog behaviors, so they are not the breed for the average dog owner. Once he knows and trusts you, he will be your velcro doggie, coming up often for pets and love, with the cutest wiggly butt you have ever seen and he'll make you laugh with his curiosity and sticking his bed head into things to check them out.
