Bruno's Story

Today - were going to TALK ABOUT BRUNO!

Because Brunos story starts hard... but it does not end there.

Yes, he was found starving on the streets. Yes, he was neglected. But that is not who he is anymore. A good human stepped in, fed him, loved him, and patiently helped him untangle the fear he carried in his big, blocky head.

And what emerged?

A 70-pound, short-legged, stout-bodied hunk of devotion with the most kissable jowls youve ever seen. We call him Meatball, and once you see that big ol head and those cheeks, youll understand why.

Bruno is 1.5 years old which means hes got that joyful, slightly clumsy, still-figuring-it-out puppy energy. Hes working on his leash skills and commands and tries so hard to get it right. He wants to please you. He just needs someone confident and steady to show him the way.

He thrives with female dogs (he plays beautifully with his foster sister), but hes not into male dogs. An only-dog home or one with a sweet female companion would be perfect. No kids for this guy he prefers a calmer environment. And he would truly love a fenced yard to stretch those sturdy little legs. Apartment life just isnt his vibe.

He can be sensitive to loud, sudden noises vacuums and carpet cleaners are public enemy #1, and thunderstorms make him nervous. But car rides? Pure happiness. Windows down, ears flapping, main-character energy.

And at night?

He is the king of snuggles. This solid, 70-pound boy will lay directly on top of you in bed like he is your weighted blanket. Its not optional. Its love.
Bruno needs patient. Steady. Kind. Someone who understands that leadership and affection go hand in hand.
