Bruiser (MY26-42)'s Story
Bruiser is a four-year-old Australian Shepherd who weighs 63 pounds and is currently managing a seizure disorder for which he is on lifelong medication.

Bruiser is a sweet, outgoing boy with a joyful personality and a big love for life. He is highly food motivated, which makes him eager to learn and easy to engage during training and bonding time.

Bruiser is looking for a calm, loving home where he can relax, feel secure, and simply enjoy spending time with his people. He would thrive in an environment that provides consistency, routine, and companionship.

A meet and greet at the shelter will be required to ensure a good fit for Bruiser, any resident pets, and the adopter.
------
Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
