Bruiser's Story
Bruiser-Poodle/Irish Wolfhound male (Woodle or Wolfdoodle), `1.5yr. 70.3# (Feb. 2026)
Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application.
Bruiser is a big boy, working in a Prison Program, learning Obedience and all kinds of great things. The Inmate Trainer says he is still a little timid but making great strides in learning about life. He's ready to find his family now and will enjoy an active life. He's a big dog so adopters should be ready for his size. He's not lived with cats or children, as far as we know, but will be tested when he can leave the Prison. This is a what the Breed Registries say about this breed mix.

The Irish Wolfhound and the Poodle have both long and distinguished histories. The Irish Wolfhound has been bred since ancient times to be a guardian and hunter, while the Poodle was initially used as a water retriever. Both breeds are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and train-ability, making them ideal partners in life and family dogs.
Bruiser's adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
