He hasn’t been tested with babies so we’d suggest children over 5. <br/><br/>Bruce LOVES to snuggle with people. He likes to be on the couch or bed and make sure he is right next to his people. He knows basic commands such as sit, stay and stop. His foster parents are working on crate training Bruce. We’re told he has separation anxiety and is reluctant to enter his crate unless prompted. He has shown some resource-guarding with his food and another resource-guarding dog in the home. <br/><br/>He is good on a leash and doesn’t pull but if there is a scent he just HAS to sniff, he has the ability to transform into a ten ton weight at the end of the leash. <br/><br/>Bruce loves sitting on laps. If you’re on the floor, he’ll sit directly in your lap and not realize his weight and size. He’s extremely personable and playful with people and dogs, almost to a fault. His Foster’s 2 year-old German Shepard mix absolutely loves him and they love running around the yard for hours on end. Bruce needs to learn boundaries when it’s time to stop playing or to come inside so an adoptive home with Rottweiler experience will be ideal to help guide Bruce to be the best boy he can be!
