Someone spent the time to train this beautiful dog, and now you can take it from here. <br/><br/>Recently, Bruce got to spend the day away from the shelter on an outing with two of our staff members. He hopped right into the car, rode beautifully, greeted everyone he met with his friendly personality, and even enjoyed an ice cream treat. Everywhere he went, Bruce proved what we've known all along -- he's an absolute gentleman.<br/><br/>In addition, Bruce has been spending some time (including overnights) with a foster couple. Here is their report of Bruce's behavior with them:<br/><br/>'Bruce is totally house trained, walks great on a leash, very relaxed in the house. Totally pays attention to his human, will lick your face endlessly, I see no aggressive tendencies at all -- definitely treated very well by his previous owner(s). A real sweet guy.'<br/><br/>His volunteer walkers report that he's slow and easy on the leash and nonreactive as he strolls through the surrounding neighborhoods.<br/><br/>Bruce also gets along well with other dogs and would love a family that will include him in everyday adventures, whether that's a trip for ice cream, a walk around the neighborhood, or a relaxing afternoon at home.<br/><br/>He's the kind of dog who makes life a little brighter just by being part of it.
