Bruce's Story

Available for Adoption – Bruce!

Bruce is an 8-month-old Boston Terrier/Lab mix who is ready to take on the world—with his forever family by his side! Rescued alongside his brother from the desert, Bruce has proven to be a bit more confident, the more outgoing half of the duo and has really come into his own in foster care.

This handsome boy greets life with a wagging tail and a “let's go!” attitude. Bruce is curious, adventurous, and always ready to check out what's next. New places and experiences? He's all in.

Bruce is fantastic with other dogs and absolutely thrives in a playful environment. Whether it's a game of chase, wrestling, or just running off some zoomies, he's the kind of pup who keeps the fun going. He'd love a canine companion but would also do well as the life of the party on his own.

When the excitement winds down, Bruce is more than happy to trade playtime for snuggles. He's affectionate without being clingy—the perfect balance of independent and loving.

Like his brother, Bruce is very food-motivated, making training both fun and effective. He's eager to learn, quick to pick things up, and will do great with continued structure and positive reinforcement.

Bruce would thrive in a home that can match his energy, continue his training, and give him the consistency he needs to keep building on his confidence. He's the kind of dog who's ready to jump in and be your adventure buddy from day one.

Bruce is current on DHPPV, Bordetella, Rabies, deworming, microchipped, and neutered.

Adoption Fee: $350

If you're looking for a fun, confident, and loving pup to add to your life, Bruce is ready to be your guy.

The Furry Farm Rescue's Adoption Policy
When you see an animal you would like to find out more about and meet, please go fill out our adoption application to start the process. Our adoptions are not first come first served, but a match of the needs of the animal with the best potential adopter. You can expect to hear from us within a week or two after submitting your application. With review of your application, we conduct a phone interview, check references, and speak to your veterinarian. During that process we will also schedule a time for you to come meet and get to know your new furry friend. If you have other animals, we will want to do intros at that time. We then ask you to take a few days to think about it and let us know. Next, we come to your house and do a last meet and greet before finalizing the adoption. All adopters sign a contract with the Furry Farm Rescue. All of our adoptions come with a 2 week trial period for dogs, and 1 week for cats. This allows you and your new furry friend some time to bond and decide if this is a forever family. Our Adoption fees vary between $50 to $275 for dogs, and cats are $40 to $60. Each pet’s fee will be listed in their biography.
