Brownie's Story

Brownie: "ADOPTION PENDING" - 2 yo, chocolate, spayed female, natural tail and ears, 10" 11.8 lbs. Shots up-to-date, micro-chipped. Rescued from shelter.

When I went to see this beautiful little Mini Pinscher Mix in the shelter, she just sat looking sadly at the outside of the kennel. She was friendly, would come over, check me out, and then return to sitting where she could look outside of her kennel. Once I got her home, that all changed! She came right in, made introductions with the resident foster/family dogs with no issues at all and settled right in. She absolutely came alive! She was sniffing the grass, running and jumping for joy! When the other dogs jump up wanting to be petted and loved on, she is right in there as if she has lived here forever. She has got short little legs, but they just fly over the grass with her tail wagging in a blur. Her whole body is a buzz of excitement. It is heartwarming to see a transformation like this in such a short time. She was worried when we left the shelter, but was calm and quiet on her ride home, she crates, loves sleeping in the bed with the rest of us, and uses the doggie door to come and go with her canine foster brothers and sisters. As long as she has a doggie door, she is housebroken. She very well may be housebroken without a door, but I cannot say for sure since. When she is in the house, she is a perfect little lady. Brownie does not exhibit any separation anxiety, and has the typical self-assurance of a Mini Pinscher. She loves attention, but is not clingy and can entertain herself. I am guessing she is a Mini Pinscher/Dachshund mix and she will stand up for herself, but is not at all aggressive. She is as funny and cute as she is sweet and loving. She loves to cuddle and is going to make some lucky family a very entertaining, warm and snugly bundle of joy.
For more photos of Brownie, please see: https://photos.shutterfly.com/story_invite/73016ea8-5437-4a39-884c-ed65cb0c2a06/80216162635

Note: Brownie is located in Springville, CA and we will not fly this girl ~ In cabin with Adopter only.

IMPS Tag: 29528
ADD DATE: 04/29/18

If you wish to adopt, please fill out our IMPS Min Pin Adoption Application
If you have previously submitted an Application form, there is no need to re-apply.
For more details, contact Gail: gail.inman@gmail.com

IMPS is a non-profit rescue organization that does not have a viewing facility to which you can come and meet the dogs available for adoption.
