She also rides wonderfully in the car and enjoys quiet companionship with her people.<br/><br/>Brook is still adjusting to life in a home and will need a patient adopter who understands that progress takes time. She is fearful of doorways and leashes, and she is still working on potty training. She does well when kept on a regular schedule and thrives with gentle encouragement rather than pressure. She can also be a bit of a picky eater and isn't very treat motivated.<br/><br/>Brook can be selective with other dogs and may need slow, proper introductions to feel comfortable. She has shown some guarding and herding behaviors around certain dogs, especially high-energy personalities, so any canine companions should be a good match for her temperament.
