Looking at where he started versus the happy, glowing boy he is today, it's hard to believe he's the same dog—but his resilient spirit never wavered.<br/><br/>Brody's Journey<br/><br/>A Rough Start: When Brody first came into the shelter, he was underweight, frail, and covered with fleas.<br/><br/>The Glow-Up: With proper nutrition, medical care, and lots of love, Brody completely transformed. Today, his coat is rich and healthy, his eyes shine bright, and his goofy, toothy smile can light up any room.<br/><br/>Master Cuddler: The moment Brody realized he was safe, his true personality blossomed. He loves nothing more than wrapping his paws around his favorite humans for a tight, leaning-in hug.<br/><br/>This is a quote from the amazing shelter staff member that saved him: "He was a stray and when he came in he was in bad shape. He had almost no hair because he was so loaded with fleas that it looked like his fur was moving. He was so scared and withdrawn. I cant even tell you how many hours we spent sitting in the kennel with him. But one day it was like a light bulb came on and he was like hey I love people and I am not scared of them." <br/><br/>What Makes Brody Special?<br/><br/>Brody was scheduled to be euthanized because he had been at the shelter for 90 days without getting adopted. With the help of the dedicated shelter staff in North Carolina we were able to save him and bring him to New Jersey where he is thriving.<br/><br/>Resilient Spirit:Despite his tough past, he holds no grudges. He looks at every new person with total trust and pure affection. He already knows sit, paw and down!<br/><br/>Ready to welcome a true success story into your heart and home? Brody is approximately 2 years old, fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.
