All pets in our program are started on heartworm preventative. <br/><br/>For a puppy under 6 months old, please note that the best fit is a home where someone is home frequently or arrangements have been made for someone to come home at least once during the day to allow the dog to go out for a potty break. <br/>*Puppies should remain socialized to other dogs in their formative stages; therefore, homes that can provide exposure to fully vaccinated and healthy, well-behaved adult dogs are strongly preferred.<br/>*Local adoptions (within 1 hour of New Orleans). We do NOT ship animals.
