Bristol's Story

My name is Bristol and I am looking for a forever home. Me and my brothers Chubbs & Kilo were given up by our owner to a small rescue after she fell on some really hard times and was not able to take care of us. We are some type of scruffy terrier mix and are 3 years old; I am the middle sibling in weight at just a little over 24lbs. We get along with each other but we are not looking to get adopted together ... in fact, we would really all like to find our own home and make our own way. When we first came into foster, it was kind of scary and we were shy and skittish, but it didn't take any of us long to learn that our foster parents were nice, we get good food and treats on a regular basis (all of us are pretty food motivated), and we have come out of our shells loving the routine. I am a little bossy sometimes with other dogs so a proper introduction to new dogs is always recommended. I have I have done well in my crate as long as I am able to get out on a regular basis to take care of my business and haven't torn up any of my bedding; however, I would prefer to be out and about and will let you know not to forget about me if I see or hear you. I'm a typical terrier in that I do have lots of energy and love running around outside and exploring so a fenced yard would be extra nice. I'm good on leash once I have learned to trust you and then would love to go on walks or even hikes. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj. org
