Brie's Story

Brie is a female/spayed 2 year old chiweenie. Brie is fully vetted and looking for a patient and understanding home to finish out her journey on learning how to trust, and become the amazing dog she is.
Brie was one of many dogs in a hoarding case. When she came into our care she was so scared. She seemed to have never been touched before. She has come such a long way. She now will run over and lick people’s hands, greet us at the door, and take treats from anyone. To those she has built trust with we can pet her, pick her up, and she will join us on the couch comfortably.
She is still working on potty training as she needs a fenced in yard to practice more safely until she is comfortable with the leash. However, she is great at using pee pads in her foster home currently. She loves other dogs, big and small, and would do best in a home with at least one other dog. She is fine with cats and kids, but prefers older, more calm children. She is overall a submissive dog and has great dog to dog social skills.
Brie is just looking for the right home to help give her more time to trust and blossom. She is so sweet and we know she will be someone’s best companion one day!
