Meet Briar<br/><br/>Briar is about 6 months old, a Husky/Pit Bull mix, and approximately 50% puppy, 50% chaos, and 100% convinced that everyone she meets is her new best friend.<br/><br/>Briar came to us as the last puppy from an accidental litter still looking for somewhere to go. Her story is an important reminder of why spaying and neutering is so important—she was born into a situation filled with uncertainty and fear through absolutely no fault of her own.<br/><br/>Luckily, Briar seems to have missed the memo that she was supposed to be worried about any of that.<br/><br/>This girl is CONFIDENT.<br/><br/>With other dogs, Briar is the queen of playgroup. Put her in with the crew and she is ready to party, happily giving some of our rowdiest boys a run for their money. Shell wrestle, chase, romp, and then come bouncing over to her humans like -Did you SEE that?!<br/><br/>But Briar has a softer side, too. When the playing is done, this big puppy is more than happy to slow things down and soak up some love. Shes a serious cuddler who will lean her whole body into you for pets and happily settle in close to her people. She may know how to bring the party, but she also knows how to enjoy a good snuggle.<br/><br/>With her love of both dogs and people, Briar could happily go either way in her future home. She would love having a dog sibling to play and grow up with, but shed be just as happy as an only pup soaking up all the attention for herself.<br/><br/>She adores her walks with volunteers, loves getting out and exploring, and happily accepts every treat offered to her. Whether shes out on an adventure, wrestling with her dog friends, or curled up getting loved on, Briar is just happy to be included.<br/><br/>At about 38 pounds and only 6 months old, Briar still has some growing to do! With her mix and young age, we cant say for certain just how big shell be when shes fully grown, so her future family should be ready to watch her grow into those paws—and that big personality.<br/><br/>Shes playful. Shes affectionate. Shes social. Shes silly. And she approaches just about everything with the kind of confidence only a puppy can have.<br/><br/>Briar was recently spayed, loves everyone she meets, does wonderfully with other dogs, and can be cat tested if needed. <br/><br/>She started life as the last puppy waiting for someone to give her a chance.
