Mommy Marigold came to us when the family no longer wanted her - and she was pregnant. She was such a special dog that her foster family actually adopted her. Mari had four beautiful puppies on 2/11/26 and they are now ready for homes! <br/><br/>DNA says there are Pomeranian / Shih Tzu / Chihuahua mixes! Mommy is about 11# and we think her babies will be about 15# when fully grown - very WEE! Due to this puppy’s smaller size, we aer looking for homes with children over the age of 8. Based on their ever expanding fluff, we also think their Adopter must be prepared to include grooming in their budget. <br/><br/>Breezy is such a silly girl - she's definitely feisty and loves to engage is play. Her photos make her seem so serious - but the video shows her true nature! The entire gang is super friendly - well socialized your typical silly puppy! <br/><br/>Again, because of their wee size, we are sending them home on a Spay / Neuter contract. This means you must bring them to our veterinary team in Everett when they are about 6 months old - so 4 months from when they go home. We can work with you to have them stay with a foster family for a day or two if you live outside the area. <br/><br/>This puppy is microchipped and vaccinated to appropriate age when they go home. They will need more puppy shots at 12 weeks, and at 16 weeks. Puppies are good with dogs, cats, kids and more. Being a puppy, they will need lots of training, including housebreaking. Remember, puppies are cute, but they have sharp teeth, need to be fed 3 times a day and poop... a lot! <br/><br/>The 3-3-3 rule is a guideline for transitioning a rescue dog into its new home and helping it to settle in. It suggests that the first three days should be used for adjusting to its new surroundings, the next three weeks for training and bonding, and the first three months for continued socialization and training.<br/><br/>Each dog goes home with a goody bag including collar/leash, toys, chews, Kong, and more. You will receive all medical records, microchip transfer form and other paperwork at the time of adoption. <br/><br/>Adoptions typically take place in Marysville. We don’t hold puppies, adoption applications may be approved in just a few days depending on how quickly references respond. If you are planning on a vacation or have an issue that may delay your ability to pick up your puppy within a few days of approval, please let us know in advance. They are ready for homes April 9th.<br/><br/>Adoption fee is $575. Save-A-Mutt is a registered 501c3 and half of your adoption fee may be tax deductible. <br/><br/>Save-A-Mutt is a foster based rescue, we do not have a facility to visit. Our adoptions are typically done Monday - Saturday, we are closed on Sunday’s to give our volunteers at least one day off. You must be available to do meets and adoptions during that time frame. We can make exceptions only with the approval of the foster home.<br/><br/>Please note, we have approximately a 300 mile adoption radius - Portland OR area and Vancouver BC is the farthest north. We don’t ship dogs, once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA. Canadian adopters must be able to come to Stanwood WA to pick up your puppy.
