Brandy's Story

Meet Brandy! We believe she is an Irish terrier approximately 18 months in age and was found as a stray. She is approximately 54lbs, but needs to gain a bit of weight so a best guess is her ideal weight will be close to 60 lbs. After getting some medical taken care of with an eye ointment for dry eyes, she's been the life of the party. She has been on pack walks, met other dogs on leash, and done well. Since coming to her foster home, Brandy has flourished! She is a wonderful girl who loves to play with other dogs, likes being around people, and rides perfect in the car. She is doing very well with house and crate training and just wants to be an active part of the family. Brandy does great on walkes, hikes and really anywhere. She has been tested around horses and shows no interest in them...but is curious about chickens and does well when directed away from them. The fosters are working on Brandy jumping on people when sehe meets them so older kids are best for this girl, Brandy would do great in a home with another dog as she loves to play...she also loves to cuddle with her foster on the couch and be near her. She is learning basic commands and doing well with those....she is a fast learner. She is a gem of a young girl and any family would be lucky to have her!

LOLA'S Rescue (Labs and Other Large Angels)'s Adoption Policy
Adopting an animal through L.O.L.A.'S Rescue means saving a life. We are concentrated on adopting animals at risk of euthanasia from High Kill Shelters and over population situations.  We are dedicated to matching the right pet with the right home.  The added advantage to being a foster concentrated organization is that we get to spend extra time with our animals to learn their special needs, we will always be 100% honest with you about the animal you are thinking of adopting, we will always try and match you with the pet that best fits your needs.  Please understand that even though we do our best to asses every animal, changing situations can mean changing behaviors.  The first step to adopting a animal is to let us know more about you and what you are looking for.  Please visit our website at www.lolasrescue.com  or email us at
