Braille Catahoula Leopard Dog & Hound Mix Smithfield, NC

Braille is one of the sweetest dogs we've had come through the rescue. He simply craves attention and will melt into your arms. Braille loves to give gentle hugs. He plays well with the children and other pups but is overly interested in cats so would not recommend a home with felines. Braille is learning basic obedience and is doing great with leash work. He is approximately 1 year old and 46 lbs. Braille is deaf, NOT blind. The name is a bit confusing. Braille is UTD on all vaccines, is heartworm negative and is scheduled for neuter and final boosters.

Blackdog Club is a facility-based rescue. We are open to the public Wednesday-Sunday between 10-6. An appointment is not required.

If an adopter wishes to bring a current pet for a meet/greet, please send vet records showing the pet is UTD on all vaccines prior to your visit to blackdogclub@outlook.com

The adoption fee includes spay or neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccines, rabies vaccine, fecal test, deworming, and heartworm test. Dogs are treated if heartworm positive. All dogs are UTD on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. All dogs are health screened and vaccinated by our vet, Family Pet Animal Hospital or Quality Care Animal Hospital.

We do not know if our dogs are house trained. They are crated overnight.
