Bradach's Story

Meet Bradach!

A snuggly two-year-old German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix in Tacoma, WA, whose favorite thing in the world is being close to his people—whether it’s curling up at your feet or keeping you company while you go about your day.

Wrapped in a striking coat of black and cream, Bradach is a gentle and goofy companion with a soft heart and a playful side. Born into a litter of seven, he's always known the joy of having a buddy nearby and would love a human best friend who’s up for some close companionship. He’s the kind of pup who’s happiest when he’s included in the action—whether you’re watching TV, cooking, or just relaxing with a good book.

Bradach knows “sit” and “lay down” and is eager to keep learning, especially when treats or praise are involved. He’s house-trained and crate-trained, and is continuing to build consistency with routine and structure. Like many young dogs, he’s still learning how to navigate the big world around him, and would thrive in a calm home where he can continue growing in confidence.

He loves toys, especially tennis balls and food puzzles, and brings a silly, curious energy to playtime. While Bradach can be a little socially awkward with other dogs, he’s done well with gentle canine companions who are patient and kind. A securely fenced yard would be a great plus for his outdoor time and safe exploration. His feelings about cats are still unknown, so slow introductions would be recommended.

With a loyal heart, a snuggly nature, and a playful personality, Bradach is ready to become someone’s devoted sidekick. If you’re looking for a loving pup to share your everyday life with, Bradach may just be your perfect match!

Bradach has a couple of littermates who are also looking for new loving homes—just in case you're considering adopting more than one pup.

If you're interested in providing Bradach with a loving home, please email adopt@joyfulpets.com for more information on adopting him! Please note that Bradach will remain with his current family until a suitable new home is found for him.

Also, Bradach is open to a long-distance adoption—love knows no distance when finding your perfect companion!

Joyful Pets Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
At Joyful Pets, our adoption process is designed to create a smooth, supportive experience for both pets and the families who welcome them. We feature pets who are being lovingly rehomed by their current families, as well as adoptable pets from our trusted rescue partners. You can start by browsing our adoptable pets on Petfinder. When you’re interested in a pet, select “Start Your Inquiry” on that pet’s profile to connect with us. If your home aligns with the pet’s needs, we’ll coordinate an introduction with the pet’s current family and arrange a meet-and-greet. Please note that pets listed through our rescue partners follow their own adoption process, requirements, and fees. These details are provided directly by the rescue. For pets rehomed through Joyful Pets’ direct rehoming program, adoption fees currently start at $150 for dogs, $95 for cats, and $50 for birds, rabbits, ferrets, or other small pets. When helpful, we may also offer a foster-to-adopt trial period so families and pets can ensure a great match before finalizing the adoption. We’re grateful that you’re choosing adoption and giving a pet the opportunity to join a caring family. Our goal is to make the process clear, joyful, and well-supported, with resources available every step of the way.
