Bowser's Story

Location: Dayton, OH

Food: Blue Buffalo puppy Lamb and Oats

Medication: NexGard Plus

Bowser is a 15 pound, four month old English Bulldog who was born with luxated elbows. If you aren't familiar with what this means, he cannot fully extend his front legs. He looks like he's always sneaking up on you. Head and front end down and butt up in the air...that's how he moves but it doesn't slow him down.

He is super friendly and gets along with all of his foster siblings. He has also tried to make friends with our free roam bunny. He loves all people like most puppies do.

He sleeps in his crate and is working hard on potty training skills. That is definitely a work in progress that will need continued reinforcement and patience. His first experience with this training was when he entered foster care three weeks ago so we continue to work on this with him.

He will need to return to our vet in SE Cincinnati for his neuter at 6 months and to be evaluated to see if he should have his palate shortened and nares widened to help him breathe easier as he gets older and bigger. Because he will need to return to this veterinary clinic, priority will be given to local applications.

***Adoption Process***
-All current pets in the home need to be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and on veterinarian prescribed flea/tick/heart worm prevention.
-Everyone living in the home, including all resident dogs, must be present at the meet and greet located in the Southwest Ohio area.
-We DO NOT ship dogs!!!
