Bowie's Story
Meet Bowie — Your Dapper, Big-Hearted Best Friend

Bowie is a four-year-old Retriever mix who’s landed in that perfect sweet spot—past the puppy chaos, but still full of life, love, and adventure. With his happy-go-lucky personality, Bowie brings an easygoing joy to every moment.

This handsome guy is known for his striking black-and-white coat that looks just like a tuxedo—sometimes even giving off adorable penguin vibes! Volunteers love how well he walks on leash, making him a great companion for strolls around the neighborhood or weekend outings.

Bowie is a true people dog. He loves being close, soaking up attention, and simply spending time with his humans. Whether you’re relaxing at home or heading out for a walk, Bowie is happiest right by your side.

He’s ready for a home where he can feel safe, loved, and truly part of the family. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a gentle spirit and a whole lot of heart, Bowie might be the perfect match.

Come meet Bowie—your future best friend is waiting.

Bowie's Big Day Out - A Volunteer Prospective
We took Bowie for a doggy day out and he was anxious at first, but after walking through Bear Creek for a while his confidence started showing. He wasn’t scared of bikes, cars, kids, ducks, other dogs, the huge bounce house we walked by, etc. After a hot walk, we got back into the car and he did great! Then we went for a pup cup, which he LOVED. A couple of people, little kids included, gave him love and he did so good with everyone. He was super sweet with my 12 year old son as well. He is the perfect addition for any family looking for a loyal and loving companion.
