I'm Boston-a big-hearted staffy mix who just wants someone to understand me. When I'm behind a kennel door, I get tense and on guard because that barrier makes me feel unsure and trapped. But the moment it's gone, I melt right into you with full-body hugs and all the cuddles I can give. I'm not really driven by treats, but I love being outside where I can sniff every blade of grass and take my time exploring. Leashes aren't my favorite, but going out to potty and wander around makes me so happy. I'm pretty sure I was potty trained before, so with a little consistency, I'll get right back into the routine. I came in with a female dog, but sometimes I react to male dogs-it's just something I'm still figuring out. Deep down, I'm a sweet, affectionate boy who wants to feel safe, understood, and loved.
