Boston's Story

Howdy from Texas! I’m Boston. A 14-month-old, 45 lb Lab mix rescued from a dilapidated property that looked like a junkyard filled with lots of rescued dogs, but the owner had no funds to care for any of us. That's when another dog rescue got involved, and now 4 Little Paws is helping us find wonderful forever homes! I am neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and finally healed from a fractured leg after being hit by a car. My vet has officially cleared me as healthy, and I'm feeling great, running, jumping, and playing without any problems, but I may still limp occasionally when overworked.

I am a sweet boy who loves people, shy at first with strangers, and great with other dogs once we've had a proper introduction. I have lots of playful energy, a happy attitude, and I love playtime with the kiddos and dog friends. I love all dog toys and giving kisses. Yep, I’m affectionate, cuddly, loving, and a bit of a velcro dog, barking a bit when you leave me, but I settle down quickly and am a good boy in a crate. I love going for walks and am working on housebreaking and doing well. My foster mom says I’m still a puppy, smart and eager to please, so with proper training, I will be an amazing family dog.
