Boss's Story
Meet Boss!
Age: 5 months old

Breed: Old English Bulldog

Weight: 50 lbs (and growing!)

Health: Neutering scheduled for 8/10; up to date on monthly flea/tick & heartworm preventatives

Good with: Dogs, kids, and adults

Energy Level: Low to Moderate (Classic couch potato with playful bursts!)

About Boss
Don't let the name fool you—Boss isn't bossy at all! This 5-month-old chunk of love is the ultimate sweet, friendly, and outgoing boy. Recently relinquished to our rescue due to his previous owner relocating, Boss is now looking for a forever family to shower with endless kisses and cuddles.

Boss is the quintessential Bulldog: an easygoing couch potato who loves a good nap, but still enjoys his playful puppy moments. He doesn't need long hikes or endless running to stay happy; instead, he thrives on sniffing around a fenced yard, chewing on his favorite Nylabones, and immediately plopping down right at your feet.

Home & Social Life
People & Kids: Boss loves everyone he meets! He is super friendly, outgoing with strangers, and wonderful with children.

Other Dogs: He gets along great with other dogs both on and off leash! (He hasn't been cat-tested yet.)

Ideal Environment: Boss is incredibly adaptable. Whether you live in a cozy apartment or a house with a yard, hell fit right in. He loves lounging in a fenced yard, but he certainly doesn't require a huge estate to be content.

Training & Routine
House Training: Doing fantastic for a 5-month-old! Hes almost fully potty trained, though like any puppy in a new home, hell just need a little patience, consistent routine, and positive reinforcement with treats as he learns where to go.

Crate Training: Crate trained for both daytime naptime and overnight! He settles down quickly (he currently sleeps next to his foster sibling) and experiences no separation anxiety.

Leash Walking: Boss walks well on a harness, though he can get a little enthusiastic and pull occasionally as he explores his world.

Manners: Working on mastering "sit"! He shows zero signs of toy or food guarding and adjusts comfortably to new spaces.

A Quick Note for Potential Adopters
Boss is a wonderful, affectionate boy who will bring immense joy to any home. Old English Bulldogs are a fantastic, loving breed, but we ask that potential adopters do a little research on the breed's specific care and health needs to ensure youre fully prepared for a lifetime of Bulldog bliss!

Ready to add a loving, kiss-giving sidekick to your family?
