I just need YOU!"<br/><br/>This HANDSOME Boxer boy didn't have the easiest start in life. His foster mom first noticed him wandering the neighborhood as a stray and she knew he needed someone to give him a chance. He has scars from what appear to be a chemical burn, or something hot poured down his back, and his hair has not fully grown back. While we may never know what happened to him, we do know that this boy deserves nothing but love from here on out.<br/><br/>When he came into rescue he was terrified of people. With patience, kindness and time to learn that he was safe he began to trust. And once you earn his trust get ready for a LOYAL shadow who wants to spend every possible moment by your side. Even if it means going to tractor supply and having his picture taken!<br/><br/>This boy is a TOTAL LOVER and CERTIFIED COUCH POTATO. Belly rubs, ear rubs or whatever you can offer in the form of affection he absolutely loves. He enjoys relaxing with is favorite human but don't let that fool you. When the Boxer zoomies kick in, his clumsy puppy antics will have you laughing in no time. He also has an adorable habit of gently nibbling with his front teeth when he's feeling comforted.<br/><br/>One strange thing for this "big boy" is that he is afraid of the dark when his person is not nearby, so a nightlight helps him feel safe. When his human is close, he's totally comfortable. He isn't asking for perfection, just someone who understands that trust takes time and that a little reassurance can go a long way.<br/><br/>Boscoe is house and crate trained, good on leash, good with dogs and kids. This boy as already made an incredible journey from a frightened stray to an AFFECTIONATE, DEVOTED companion. Now he needs a forever family who will continue showing him that the world can be a safe and wonderful place.
