Boomer's Story

He's not talking but you can see Boomer's story written all over him. It's obvious from his prominent ribs and hip bones that he was on his own for quite some time. Fortunately, some good Samaritans from Norwich gave him some food and water and called KCHS. He was emaciated and exhausted and spent the first 48 hrs at the shelter just resting on his bed and taking in all the sights and sounds (and food!) all around him. Then lo and behold, his true personality began to emerge....and it is wonderful1! He is the sweetest boy, loves hugs and kisses and is as soft as a cloud. He's been fully vetted and given a clean Bill of Health! He still needs to put on weight but as most of us know, that comes pretty easy... He's ready to adopt a new family and is taking applications. He would love to have a fenced yard and maybe some kids. If you would like to be adopted, send us an application and we'll help him chose the best PERMANENT home. No more 'stray days" for this boy!
